A 100 by 100cm Work in progress.. It’s moved on from this but I liked this stage. It still felt unfinished so I carried on.

I’ve been using oils more which is a great lesson in patience. I like the effect they give but the drying time is a pain..

This one is starting to come together.. I want to keep the lines of the horizon in without it driving me mad.. I like a hint but not a total commitment . I love the richness of the oils on this one. Acrylics are great but I cannot get that lovely buttery effect with them.

Drawing in hints of horizon. I want to give a feeling of movement but also give nothing away - a sense of history and changes in landscape, but also a blank slate/new day.
