Drift - commission May 2025

A lovely couple from San Francisco reached out to me via Instagram to explore the idea of a commission. After a FaceTime chat where we discussed colours, style, and size, everything came together naturally—and it was a real pleasure to create.

Commissions didn’t always feel this way. Ten years ago, they filled me with pressure and self-doubt. I’d get stuck trying to make everything “just right,” and the process often left me feeling stressed and burnt out.

These days, it’s the opposite. I genuinely enjoy the connection that commissions bring. Talking to a collector about their vision and creating something meaningful for their space feels like a privilege. It’s collaborative, personal, and rewarding.
